Business Degree Simplified

Explaining the business classes freshman and sophomore undergraduate students will take at the University of Arkansas before their major specific classes.

KEY FACTS:

• Classes must be taken in a specific order as the classes build upon one another

• ALL Business Core classes must be completed to begin Major specific classes

• Do NOT take prerequisite classes in the summer (unless at the University of Arkansas or in the 1st summer session)

• Keeping up with the business core is imperative for graduating on time

ENGL 10103: Exempt with 19 ACT English/490 SAT English

ENGL 10203: Exempt with 30 ACT English/690 SAT English

MATH 10203: Exempt with 19 ACT Math/620 SAT Math

*ECON 20103/20203: Econ 20103 OR Econ 20203 must be taken to unlock Semester 4 Classes. BOTH Econ must be completed to unlock Major Specific Courses
